![]() I need to find a replacement O/S rear ABS sensor for my RS4.
The part number is 8D0 927 807H, but this is no longer available from Audi. I know I could probably purchase a 'compatible' item, but the original cabling includes the brake pad warning sensor wiring, which the compatible parts do not. I have a Bosch part number 0 265 006 693 (I believe they originally manufactured the part for Audi) but this doesn't appear to be bringing any results on t'internet. I may just not be looking in the right places online, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance Andy |

![]() Probably it will be same as A4 B5 and A6 C5. Maybe even VW Passat around that year, as suspension is copy-paste from A4.

![]() Thanks for the response Sandro.
I did look at the alternative Audi/VW's but none appear to have the pad wear sensor wire integrated. I may just need to buy a sensor and solder the sensor part onto the original wiring, then cover with heat shrink tubing. |

![]() Rear pad warning is only used on RS4 not on the other lower engined B5 quattro's, I've replaced a rear sensor on my 1.8 B5 QTS with a quality Lexmark part I got it from ebay (here - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-A4-B...8AAOSwynRZzGYt)
and its been on the car over 2 years now without any degration of the rubber unlike some of the cheaper ones from china such as I suspect this is - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Car-Rear-....c100005.m1851 Assuming yours is the bolt in type as only the early cars (98 and earlier) had the press in sensors, good luck removing it, mine was stuck. Not sure that paying for another brand is worthwhile as they all tend to use similar sourced parts in own brand boxes (with exception of Bosch and Audi) Last edited by quattrodave; 05-01-20 at 04:57 PM. |
