Window Regulator

OK here goes,
Does anyone have or know where I can get a drivers side window regulator for a 1982 quad headlamp coupe
Mine has packed up, it was reconditioned one before so I think it has given up
Any thoughts

i've seen them on ebay for the quattro - i'm assuming that they're the same?

Yup definitely the same, they're all expensive!

You can get them reconditioned. The motor stripped down and the cable renewed. If your motor is slow and sticky when winding up it may prove cheaper to remove yours and send it away to get recon'd.

Easy enough to get out, no specialist tools needed.

Let me rack my brain and see if I can dig out an old link I found. Also found a repair kit for an E46 bmw when one of my rear ones went awry. Eventually got rewired by the garage I bought the car from
