Pardon my ignorance Eddy but what else is there to do other than watch the cars racing up the hill, is there access to the paddock/pits for example?
Any trade stands?
Other cars on show?
.......and is there a chuck wagon?!
Cheers,
John.

Well John, Doune is really quite a good venue,
It is next to a antique center(for the bored missus), decent resturant/caffe, good chuck wagon for Man food

The paddock is open to the public and you can get as close to the cars as you like (not mine tho )

The track has a path all the way up and is one of the best spectator tracks I have been too.
You can get very close to the start and the whole event is very well organised !

come and say Hi

I think ill be heading up to watch. I was there for one race last year and it was brilliant getting to look round at all the cars up close as well and seeing then fly up the seriously tight course. I think it was only £5 to get on site and gives access to the pit area and the track up the hill.

It worth it just to hear the 5pot in the trees as well as the V10 single seaters scaring the shit out of you with the howl they produce.
