Default Removable sunroof

Hi
I want to remove my sunroof, the ones tha have "pull" rings either side as I noticed in the tilt up position it has rust i need to attend to underneath it. However It seems seized ( the pull rings) I'm afraid of beaking them, I sprayed plusgas and some wd40 on it last night, hoping it will penetrate and loosen it a bit, if it doesnt and I cant pull them any tips please?
cheers
Stu

Just looked at mine Stu on the CQ and i cant see why yours would be seized !!! I would give them a twist as well as a pull !
I'm sure they will go

Even if you bust em, try this.....

Thanks Specky, I managed to get a long screwdriver in from the back and twisted on the rings, they were seized but are moving now. I took out the sunroof to repair some rust underneath. I think it hasn't been opened for years and water left to sit in the channels.
