It's been nearly two months since my engine went pop and in that time my poor UR has been stuck outside in the rain and wind and nasty ass weather slowly rusting and looking sorry for itself.
However today with the help from family and friends I was able to get it hauled up into my garage (very steep gradient - rises 1m in 5m!) with the help of 4-1 rigging from a yacht and a car tow eye sunk into 13cm into the concrete floor as an anchor. ![]() Now comes the fun with getting time to get the engine rebuilt. I'm thinking it's probably not going to be this year mores the pity. Still I've got an Octavia VRS in the meantime to keep me occupied!
