I take it bell-housing bolt pattern is the same for V6 as it is for the 5-pots??....what about a 1Z diesel engine, would this bolt up to the V6 box??.......don't suppose the ratio's would suit the diesel though?
Hopefully it'll go to a good home.

If you gave this car to TONX 4X4 and around £2500 , it would be a 20vt 4wd quattro . i wish i had the cash .

The 1z will bolt up to the v6 box. But you will need to weld on the engine mount brackets to the chassis rails as the v6 doesn't have them.

I would have to agree, rather than converting something that Audi actually produce it would not be cost effective to do this car.

The idea behind conversions is to fit the engine into something Audi never did or improve the older models with later technology.
