Engine Mounts

Hello, Is there any one out there with an old type 98 chassis for a Five cylinder engine willing to cut the engine mounts from the inner wings so I can weld them into my 80?

I have been messed around for three months on ebay by a bloke saying he will cut the mounts out but seems to have disappeared off the face of the planet now he has my money!

I am guessing I am not the only one then!

I gave him a list of parts for my conversion and ended up with, both radiators (seem ok but havent pressure tested them yet), A wiring loom and ECU for an s2 and he said he would have to wait until 'The insurance" had cleared. I paid for it all on the 15th of October and have been fobbed off until now.

people have mentioned him on s2forum. He tried getting a pair of mounts off a car I scrapped but he ran out of time before it was scrapped. Sorry to hear your having problems, I hope you get them sorted.

I have tried opening a dispute with the relevent companys, but don't see much I can do about it, I just want to get my project underway but desperately need to get mounts from somewhere so if anyone can point me in the direction of where or who I can get mounts from that would help me a lot.

I am not breaking a car that I will cut them out of, the s2 i'm breaking now I want to keep the shell in one piece. I'm sorry to hear about your dealings and problems, i've not heard nothing from him in quite a few weeks now, I want some of his junk out my lockup as its in my way now. Apart from the mounts are you still waiting for anything else from him?

kits a good seller and can be trusted

Spink I priced them up once upon a time as my shell was a 4 pot.

They were about £600

Foobister I Am pretty sure I have a couple of pairs already cut from shells. £25 + p&p

Can send them first class monday morning if you need them real quick

Go for a set from Tonkys, will be cheaper then paying me to cut the ones from my car.
