Default For all you Scots Out There

.....these need your helpin' hands.

If you've never been "Doon The Water" then you have not lived ... a great day out for family, friends and children whilst enjoying the sights of Scotland. The Waverley is a second generation ship, built on the Clyde in 1947. The first vessel was sunk rescueing troops in 1940 at Dunkirk.

This could be your last chance to sail with such a great vessel and see the engine room in action as they are in need of donations to keep her afloat and running...

Buy a ticket and seriously enjoy a great day out touring Scotland or Other parts of the UK.

Buy one and Enjoy!

She was running for a few years off the south coast. Was a regular sight travelling up and down the dorset coast.

.......and she still does!

But like all else times are hard and the seasons up here (Scotland) make it difficult to run as they don't always get the numbers...and it cost £450 approx per hour in fuel. Hopefully it won't be its last year as it's a great day out and the canteens provide good food whilst taking in the views from her decks...

many many memories of that old tub! most memorable was the captain chasing a basking shark and another, sitting for three hours in a storm watching Ayr passing the windows very rapidly in a verticle manner from a mile or two out.. at night! that was fun.. i think that one of the captains years ago was showing young boys a little more than the engine room... think that put a real downer on the takings for a few years.. tosser.
