How much do you guys think this is worth? I am seriously considering buying it, just need to see what is reasonable price?

given the condition and history it should be worth close to 2k imo

I was thinking the same sort of money. HP2 calipers at the front, new gearbox as well clutch master cylinder. There is some rust, but, sad to say could use my c4 as donor car.

it looks a good honest car tbh , the rusty bits wouldnt even bother me if i had the money for it myself atm , its had a bit spent on it mechanically and seems well looked after , if you were on a notion of one then id say you wont go far wrong in snapping it up if its in around that money at the end as its not bad value at all , step in and away you go , there is one over here for sale atm without T&T for more money and needing work

This car would be dream come true to me. I asked him about buy it now option, will see what he'll reply tomorrow, as there are several more people that are interested. But I wouldn't mind paying £2k straight, value of these cars will only go up with years imho.

values are def on the way up alright even now ,, a lot of them were broken up for the running gear , and any good ones now will be rising for sure , likely worth doing a deal for

It does need new boot lid as well as one of the doors, and there is rust on arch on door side. And it is pretty bad, got some pictures sent.

ask him how long he's had it. this car was advertised on car and classic for months last autumn and stated that there was "a noise from the front of the engine, diagnosed as the viscous unit" i notice that this ebay ad doesn't mention anything of that or how long this guy has owned it.

He says he owned it for several month, found an ad on s2 forum dating back to 2011 where guy wanted £2700 for it. And he said that viscous fan has been changed. So I would say technically car is pretty sound, so I'll see what I can do to snatch it for £2000, if I succeed I will be the happiest 20y.o on earth, and there will be a massive built thread, obviously. Although, it does mean I have to break my C4 in order to sort that S4 out, but it's all for good cause.
