Default cleaning car mats

mine are pretty grubby, can you put them in the washing machine?? is it worth a go ?

Although I've no experince in washing machine design and my physics stopped at A level, I wouldn't try it
The unequal weight and size might knacker your machine and unless you're careful with the temp might shrink/discolour them!
Have you not tried standard cleaners?
If you're hell bent on the washing machine idea I'd take them to the local laundarette!!

well i can wash them by hand no problem, also good thinking about the weight, i didnt think about that,

(wife would go mad coming home to find the washing machine had ripped the worktop off the cupboard lol)

might just give em a go with warm water and fairy i think

last time i tried it the backing on the mats went all soft and floppy and started to break up, jet wash and drip dry or wet vac em

I cleaned mine in the cabby with Vanish Mouse for carpets it brought them up fantastic. Cheaper and safer than washing them too

Do what we do... Rent a cottage and go on holiday for a week...

Wash all of the car mats, the oily overalls, and even the dogs bed... It's the only way to go!

Funny you should mention that... It's the dogs bed that usually finishes it off, so we leave that until the Friday now...
