Hi,
My 1995 80 2.6 avant has a starting problem when it's very cold. When I try to start the car on very cold mornings it just turns and turns but wont fire. A few winters ago we had this problem and a new cam position sensor solved the problem. I bought another new cam position sensor along with a new battery (old battery didn't like all the cold cranking) after the car failed to start last week. It started and ran fine till this morning. I'm thinking that if the temperature would lift above 0 outside then the car would start as it never fails to start unless it gets very cold overnight. Any ideas would be very helpful. Michael |
