Default Best driving roads

Planning a bit of a road trip in the Old Girl next month to Switzerland.

Came across this list of the "19 Greatest Driving Roads on Earth" I'm sure they could have found another one .
http://www.breakdowncover.org/blog/1...-driving-roads

Three of the roads on the list are within about 50 miles of where we are staying (near Interlaken) . Two of them I had already noticed on the map looked like good quattro fun .

We did the Stelvio Pass in 2005. We just need that big win to work our way through the rest of the list .

I have driven several of those listed... Great Ocean Road a few times, the Grimsel Pass, San Bernardino and the Oberalp Pass in Switzerland and the Stelvio Pass in Italy. There are many others I drove in Northern Italy, Austria and Switzerland while I was there for three months in 1980.

Best of luck on the Trip with the quattro.

Did a tour of Europe,when I was married.Some breath taking roads,through Austria.
Just watch out for the traffic cops, they pop up from nowhere.Very sneaky, they hide.
Enjoy your trip and lots of pics.

Going to drive down through Le France and then loop back up through Zee Germany via Ingolstadt . Might take a couple of pictures there as well .

TBH,it was over 16 years ago.
All I can remember, was it was between Vienna and Salzburg.Quite close to Salzburg.
It was a road going up the base of a mountain, going to a camp site.(Campingplatz)
I remember chalets that were covered in flowers and cows with bells around their necks.
