Default Strange pricing (ebay)

If a car doesn't sell for £1495, why would it suddenly sell for £1650??

Original ad that didn't sell:-

I don't get this. Ok he fixed the wheel hub cap and I would not buy a car with a short MOT anyway.

Somebody buy it quick before it goes up to £2500

He had to buy a set of wheels to fix the missing cap so hence a higher price. QED.

I am sure he'll make his money back on the wheels seperately. Was considering the car for myself but the increase has killed it.

Nah. Won't be making an offer. Turns out its a cat C write off.

I thought the front bumper colour looked off but since there was no full front picture it was hard to see at first.

I get it, maybe not with that particular car but certainly with newer cars I've often looked at a lower priced car and thought "What's wrong with it" whereas if it was a thousand or so more it wouldn't stand out so negatively to me.
