Hello,
Does anybody have schematics for the switch on the B-post? To release the locks on a manual top?

Best rgds!

I have not got a schematic, but it is really simple. A single live wire in, a pressure switch that, when pressed, passes power to the catches in the hood storage locker. Unfortunately, on my '94 model, the power in was OK, the switch worked OK, but the catches still refuse to open electrically. I would have expected a relay but can't find one anywhere. It's "on my list" and if I get a result I will post back.

There's an ECU behind the rear seat back, often problematic due to dry solder joints.
I removed mine and spent ages carefully going over every soldered joint; refitted it and the bloody hood release still won't work!
I can hear the ECU clicking when I press the release button, but that's as far as it goes. I still have to release it manually - admittedly that's not difficult, but I would like it to work correctly.
Let me know if you need more info on accessing the ECU.

HTH,
Alan
