Looks to be a beauty - just hope it's not being kept outside in the best of Yorkshire's winter weather
![]() Now if Coxy buys that one, it'll mean he'll sell me the 80CD..... ![]() Alan

mailed the guy a few days ago about it. He's got it up on Car and Classics for £2995.
Which seems a bit bloody steep if you ask me. I paid less than half that for my 80CD with siimilar mileage and that came with a private plate worth half what I paid. |

Other thing is, I can't recall the SC model and looking back at my brochures for the 1984 range it only lists the following:
CL GL Sport CD Turbo Diesel ![]() ![]() ![]() It's has the similar seat/upholstery as the CD but not lower spoiler, no aluminium trim on the bumpers and side trim, no headlight washers, so pretty low spec really as well as only steels with plastic trims. Looks like it has the Power locks though. But has the 1.8 engine. Presuming it's the carbed one (90bhp) as opposed to the Fuel Inj engine (112bhp). |

It is the 1781 Carbed engine (90bhp)
Missing the 1985 brochures in my collection! This model would probably be in there. I know the CC was released later in 1985 so I'm presuming fairly similar spec with the 4+E gears. |

Yup, I can confirm it's definitely the 1781cc carb model. My old man had one for years (before I gave him my 90 2.2E) and has power steering and power locks, but that's it as far as 'extras' go - no leccy windows, etc. A good car, but nowt special as Steve rightly says in t'other thread.
£3 grand Hell, that IS steep! Coxy, I just loved the 80CD I had - not the quickest or the best handling Audi for the period (I ain't got rose-tinted specs), but just a bloody good well-equipped all-round car with the huge benefit of the 5-potter Twas a fine car but records tell me it's no more.... I would have it back today if it was...Alan

I've got an old Parkers Plus price guide from 2001 which has details of cars from 1982 to 1991. For the SC it says
