Hi guys
on the way home from work tonight i noticed that a orange "arrow" light came on its between the temp gauge and fuel gauge and just below them on the cluster comes on around 2.5-3k revs and with light throttle, any ideas? thanks Jim |

Absolutely...
The early cars were fitted with an 'econometer'... Basically fed off the inlet manifold vacuum, the gauge I lovingly knicknamed the 'Thrashometer' as the longer it spent pinned to the ceiling the harder you were trying, and the arrow just told you, you weren't trying hard enough... The design idea was to encourage frugal driving.... ![]() ![]()
