Default Steering wheel wobbles when driving slowly forward on full lock

Coming home tonight, I was turning to set me up to reverse into my drive.

I was driving forwards, less than walking pace, with full right lock on.

The steering wheel was moving slightly (from left to right) as I was going forwards.

I know it needs a new suspension top mount.

Would this cause it, or is it CV joint related?

Cheers,

Steve

I was only moving forward perhaps 1 metre and the steering wheel was wobbling every 30cm or so.

Tyres are all good tread, Vredesteins.

Quite likely to be suspension and if you say the top mounts are knackered then thats probably the likely culprit

Hi Steve,

I have the same issue and brought it up a month or so ago, I believe the outcome was that the CV joint was at fault.

Heres the link to the thread:-

I guess you have only just noticed it, mine hasnt done it for about three weeks now, but when the temperature outside dropped yesterday, and it was as bad as ever.
