I ve bought a tailgate on german Ebay. My neighbours german and translated the blerb for me, i had to save up, being on min wage so luckily it was relisted twice. I then went to Shipley and waited for quotes to come in to pick up in Germany and deliver here in London. the tailgate ,original for my Audi was 100 Euros about £83 at the time and about £70 to deliver, by two great guys who come over every two weeks with a huge van, they had it sitting nicely on a settee .! it is now at the paint shop for a coat of pearl. I broke the glass in mine by leaving a small clamp on the roof of the car , which as i drove off slid into the recess where the roof and tailgate join, i got home opened the boot and bang ! and shatter , nearly had a hearty!! and my thee collies in the back!! Sorted now.
