Shouldn't have problems if they are 13 x 6's.
I'm pretty sure mine x 14 x 6 et 28 on my '82 80CD and before that, I ran it with melbers which had a smaller offset. |

Usually you can get away with a plus/minus 7 mm difference in the offset. So for a 25 offset you can change anywhere within 18 to 32 offset.
This is a good website to get information http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible_pg2.html |

if its 28 offset then you can go between 21 and 35 from the factory original. What is the factory orginal spec?

right im guessing my standard offset is going to be around et35 to et42? my new wheels ive just checked are et25, thats going to be abit of a problem aint it? after reading info i found on the link you gave me its gona cause me problems.....oh what do i care lol they do have a 3inch dish on them! and look, pardon the term 'phat, innit man' lol. besides the low offset should push the wheel out making the car look wider.

checked on Vagcat. Your original alloy spec was 6 JX14H2 ET45.
So in theory you can go ET37 to ET52. My coupe has the same offset but came with wheels with ET35 and it ran OK. No bumps, grinds, rubs etc. |

Just to put a spanner in the works, I ran my 80 on BMW E21 Melbers which have an offset of et13 and had no clearance issues and filled the arches just nicely.
