Do you think time travel will ever be possible?

Just something to ponder - as the title really, do you believe that in the future (maybe distant future) that man will ever achieve time travel? and even if it becomes physically possible do you think ethically it would take place (by that I mean changing past events affecting the present etc.)

I read a theory somewhere that UFO's are not visitors from deepest space but are in fact our future selves visiting us from a future time on Earth. I also think that Einstein predicted that time travel is possible.

If it where possible. Would Governments allow it? How many job losses would there be? No trains. planes and automobiles required, How would Governments raise the billions they rip off the poor motorist and holidaymaker????

if time travel was possible, why have we not heard of anyone from the future travel back to the present??

as I see it...if our future selves can/could travel back in time they could not make contact with us. If they could make contact then potentially they could then alter the course of human history. Thus if they are able to alter the course of history, however small that alteration may be, then they would in effect be altering the destiny of themselves ever existing in a future world.

So if you could travel back in time..say to pop off one of your distant relatives, then by doing so (popping off great grandad) you would effectively put your self out of existence. You would never have existed.

So if you believe the earlier theory I posted, that UFO's are in fact future humans travelling back to visit us, this explains the reason why they never actually make contact with us. To do so would potentially open up the possibilities to alter the course of human history thus their own existence.

I think thats how it works.....................

My theory is based on UFO's being piloted by future human beings time travelling back from a future Earth.

Of course it could be that aliens are visiting us from outer space and are not future humans at all, but creatures from another planet. In this scenario then it is possible that abductions could take place and I guess it would be more plausible.

Oh bugger I don't know anymore..it's Friday and I should be out of the office and on the way home!
