Default Rs4 suspension issue

I have a question regarding an rs4 on an 06 plate , there has been a odd noise from the rear , everything has been checked but when it was put up my mates post lift the rear passenger side suspension leg did not drop under relief , is it the dtc valve or the leg itself that's goosed ?
It's done 32k

Dunno mate to be fair. I do know the Rs4 system is different to the old Rs6 system that had all the probs. Guess it's the evolution version but they still have their problems. Not sure if the valves can be changed.

Very similar system to the C5 RS6 John, although a bit more reliable they do start to have issue, based purely on corrosion and in all honesty, from my experience the lower mileage cars suffer worst - unfair I know!
If the DRC (Dynamic Ride Control) valve block or struts are leaking they need swapping and although Audi only normally change the failed unit I would always suggest swapping the two diag' connected struts and the valve. Soon as the systems been open they're never the same again!

Something worth trying is calling Audi UK customer services as they often give good will on these repairs as they had so much bad press with them.

Or, swap for KW V3 kit!
