Has anyone put one of these on their Audi?
If so any benefits or a waste of time? I'm especially looking at those of you who are into racing. You thoughts please. |

Unless theres some kind of deficiency in the standard system ( TCI system is pretty darn good!) then i dont think youll get anything.
Usually wise to upgrade if youre running large boost levels otherwise i dont think theres anything to gain. |

"The toothed wheel effectively replaces the distributor and tells the megajolt where the engine is in the cycle."
That's bolleaux. The distributor rotates once per four stroke cycle and its position is definitive. The crank rotates twice per cycle and its position is ambiguous. No crank pulley (or flywheel) sender can tell you where the engine is in the cycle. |
