Angry All modified cars to become illegal?

This has been on the cards for a while but it seems it is soon to become law.Apparently the only way a car can pass an MOT is for it to be exactly as it left the factory.

I don't think I know of a car that hasn't been modified in some way wether it be different wheels/tyres,stainless exhaust or whatever.

Check out the FBHVC or ACE websites for more info.

Surely they will have to make it that there is some kind of cut off date to it or a test that you must pass specifically looking at mods that lets some cars go through. Im pretty sure all emergency vehicles are modified in some way. I work along side lots of them and iv seen loads of little and big mods.

Nope, that won't work either; we can't possibly pay a sensible price for our food & drink to allow the people producing it to make a living, presumably because it had to go to the bankers to keep their 'talent' in the country ...

You could go into middle-management, sadly that seems to be thriving

Sadly I can't argue with you there, although it's unfair to blame it on the country as such, more the majority of the people in it

That bullshit , if they end up doing that they should at least have a certification process to allow modified cars a chance of getting a MOT. In NZ you are required by law to get a cert even if you uprate you brake pads to mintex or greenstuff etc, or if you fit fixed back bucket seats and thats just the small things. It costs anywhere from $300-$1000 depending on the modifications you have done.
