Default Audi A6 / S6 4.2i C5 wanted

Looking for Audi A6 / S6 (C5) year 1998 - 2001 with 4.2i engine. Interested at 2.7 biturbo as well. Of course - cheap
Any condition.

The second one has been for sale for a few weeks now on Pistonheads and the bay and has come down £1000 in price so there may be more haggling space on that one.
I have a 4.2 Avant and cant fault it apart from the fuel bills but you dont buy these to commute big mileages.
The wide body 4.2 IMHO looks better that the 2.7t and the V8 sounds much better, swings and roundabouts on both I suppose.
I am sure you know but always check the auto box as these can be problematic and a costly repair.
Obviously pre 2000 the road tax is cheaper as well.
Due to the price of fuel I am sure you could get yourself a bargain if you wait for the right one to come along.

Yes, I had before Audi S8 4.2 with LPG. This is why I want back V8... Or in worst case V6 turbo.. Yesss, fuel bills are not like using 1.9tdi, but I cannt help myself..
And sure - first hand for wide body

There is smthng strange about first one... phone number starts with 0707... and same add was in ebay last week, but with different address and phone number.
