I take it you have analogue clocks?
I think those will fit ok in a black cowl.

I don't know if the brown switch surround will fit to the black cowl though.
The black dash in the later cars changes every brown piece of plastic in the car to black with it.
I don't know if the brown centre console will fit up to the black dash.
Steering column surround I know is the same (but black) on later cars. I owned my '85 for about 10 years before I noticed that the steering column surround was brown and got myself a black one, so I know that doesn't stand out too much. Not sure about brown switches and stalks with black dash though...
