Sadly it's gimmicks
like these that sell cars these days.....and when related control units fail in 15 years time*, may be enough to render the car uneconomical to repair and so what sold the car all those years ago is the same reason for it being scrapped/recycled!
Ok I'm pushing the scenario a bit!
