You are obviously far more
intelligent than most on here because you can make absolute statements as to the (non)existence of a god etc. without being able to prove either way, that appears to be the difference between you and I, you can see by my post,.
If you don't believe then we don't need to fight/disagree about differing faiths or beliefs.
If you do believe then by definition there can only be one creator therefore we ALL revere the same one, so why argue about our beliefs, you may attend church on Sunday and I may attend the synagogue on Friday or the local mosque but just because we do it differently isn't cause to beat each other to a pulp.
I do agree that there is a whole heap of made up stories about the origins of different religions.
We could go down the road and discuss:
If God doesn't exist then who or what created the universe and what is the point of our existence?
Don't get me wrong, I am not stating either way the existence or non-existence, this is because I can't find any proof to back up any absolute statement. If you know of the proof then point the way, but please don't just come back with an ub-substantiated statement.
