Older Audi VW's nowadays seam to attract the younger partying weed brigade hence would be uncool to do what the Triumph boys do.
They are more generally interested in the speed and the cache the Audi VW badges cult status bring.There are of course mature Audi owners too. The triumph boys seam to be mostly, but not all, more straight laced more traditional and in love with the history more reverent hence why they like the history/spec file.
