This is the problem with society today.I'm just inside the M25. Nobody wants to take responsibility over anything.A bit like they couldn't give a .... While he's alright jack why should he bother.
14 years ago i built a massive shed well more like tiny bungalow as i wanted it to look nice.It has proper eves,guttering a pitched roof and a valley,windows a door all built on the traditional brick plinth type construction like the old barns were built. The neighbour at the back built a fire some months later and i could work out it was too close but i thought surely he will be on top of the situation.
The next day i decided to climb onto my shed/bungalow roof and peer over the back only to find the bastard/prick had singed the hell out of my rear ship lapped wooden wall. I was fuming but like an idiot just left it. Not long after that he knocked on my door to ask for a football that had made it's way into my garden. Braison selfish indulgent twat springs to mind.He has since tried to cover up the fire damage by planting lelandai trees. There are big now and if they do anything to my building branches will be cut and the roots will be poisened.
I am afraid if you don't confront it you will only end up like me bitter about it. So what do you do, allow the wall to be further compromised eventually becoming dangerous or do you deal with it? Neighbours.........if i could get away from them i would,as in afford a nice detached house with the nearest house being 100yds away.
