Default Which buggr-al road tax and fuel use estate car?

Excluding anything french or vauxhall, options seem to be -

Fabia
Octavia
Golf
Hyundai i40/30
Kia cee'd
Seat ibiza
Volvo v40
Dacia logan (!)
Focus

All various forms of blue-tec-eco-greenline-dynamic-i-drive-tec-eco-blue-baby-seals-and-flowers-diesel-soot-generators. (slow in other words)

Just drove one today, amazingly slow, road noise from hell and made of tin, but I won't be driving it.

What would you get if there was a gun to your head?

(I'm the one holding the gun, and a shoe horn and I still can't get her out of the allroad. But it's toast, got an offer of £1500 trade-in for it, which would not be easy to acheive in any other way, certainly not ebay!)

I take it none of them have a warranty like Kia? Any ideas?

Worked out though over five years, for a two year old car with about 10k miles on it, taking time lost fixing cars, and hence not working, into account, you're no better off really running old ones, just take on a load stress for no reason.
