I changed the wiring on my quadlamp using 3 relays and a 16mm sq fused cable from the battery (I can email a circuit diagram if interested), It made a MASSIVE difference, especially when used with these new brighter halogen lamps and especially on main beam. I have them on my present Cq too and they are like WW2 searchlights on main beam and put the Zenons on the A6 to shame
You do need to have perfect reflectors which tends to be the big issue on these lamps
