To everyone's surprise the rain didn't really persist and by lunchtime and end of practice it was pretty much dry.
Not before Andy did a bit of grass tracking at Quarry corner! Fortunately his oversteer moment sent him heading off into the in field where there is lots of run off.
We had our own little "quattro corner" in the paddock, with Kieth Murray and Neils 20v conversion.

It was good to see Keiths car go properly, the snow in March didn't really provide ideal conditions. It is awesomely quick.
Our car is no slouch, but as you can see, an extra 100 or so horsepower, 300 less kilos, slick tyres (and probably a better driver) is worth about six and a half seconds around a lap of Castle Combe.
