Hey guys, wonder if you can answer a few questions for me please.

Toady I swapped out the brake accumulator which I thought was a simple job. Couple of things that bothered me.

When I unscrewed the banjo bolt I lost all the power steering fluid, which is fine as I wanted to replace it. But when I undid the union, NOTHING came out of it, nothing.
Should there be some fluid coming out???

Anyway, I have now put everything back to how it should be, topped up the power steering fluid and bled the steering. I also bled the brakes in the correct order with an Easybleed kit, but when I finished the reservoir was over flowing and I had to syphon some out???
That doesnt seem right to me.

So now instead of the pedal going to the floor, the pedal goes down about an inch possibly two and is very spongy.

Should I of had the brake pedal pressed down when bleeding?

Or could something be wrong.

Everything else apart from ABS unit and hydraulic pump is new.

Thanks
