Different insurers/underwriters have different requirements when it comes to classifying as a classic.
My 1998 S4 was on classic insurance with Classicline, as it was deemed a 'future' classic. Meanwhile, same insurer would insure a 1990/G V8 as a classic, but a 1993/K V8 was too modern by 1 year.
