I really think that the later B3 and B4 models were probably some of the best Audis built. You also have the experience of the B3 quattro, albeit 20v, like we had the Sport and a 2.8quattro so I'm sure the S2 is similar. Trouble is I've hung out on the S2Forum for too many years, so I know what people spend on them !!,

I agree the b4s are solid and remain so even 21 years after leaving the factory. Built to a high standard and
then given a price tag. Yes mine has needed alot of work but thats mainly all things rubber, perishing. Belts, hoses, tyres, gaskets, seals and bushes etc. Thats fine, It is 21 now. With all that sorted its great to drive.
