I use my 20v 90q every day. I'm comuting from Derby to Daventry and LOVE evry minute of it. I work with very new, expensive and fast cars all day but none of them give me the same feeling as the 90.
They can be very weedy below 4k but I polished and ported mine, matched manifolds, modified throttle, intake, fuel pressure and made new injector resistor pack (old one failed and set each injector to it's perfect resistance now) and she flies. Pulls from 2k and really builds - revs to 8k quite happily.
Fuel economy is awful considering the power output - mine does about 23mpg all the time, regarldess of type of use. But still worth it.
They drive great, sound awesome on full song and generally gives me alot that newer cars just lack.
In my humble opnion it strikes agreat balance between old and new - old enough to be full of character and fun but new enough technology and performance wise to not be a chore in modern traffic.
I know I bias but they are cool!
In fact, I'm now looking forward to my journey home!!
