THIS IS A MUST, if yiu drain the oil and you cant get the fill plug out, you are fooked big time' the drain plug is normanly quite easy to move as it s alway has a little bit of oil sepage around the thread but the fill plug has been sat there for the last 20 odd years bone dry and will have corroded to the box, its worth spraying with Plus gas for a few days before so it can get into the threads
