The inlet manifold is simple to remove, a bit time comsuming but easy. But it has to come off to get at the manifold. Just remember to take a few camera pics to aid putting it back together. The inlet manifold is held on with Allen key bolts. Once off it's just a matter of getting the down pipe undone, which can be a bitch and then undoing all the copper nuts holding the manifold onto the studs. they WILL be mostly knackered but can come out with persuasion. Be carefull and they may come out in tact. But you will need new ones when putting it back together, you can be sure of that!
