North Wales Run Sunday - 3rd January
 

As I am now Honary Area Organiser for the quattro Owners Club for Shropshire and North Wales ( Area D2 ) I though that it would be a good idea for a little run out.
So, throwing open the doors for members off here too. The itinerary is this.

Date :- Sunday 3rd January 2010.
Location :- Ponderosa Cafe, Horse Shoe Pass Nr Llangollen
Time:- 10:00hrs
Meet up and enjoy hearty breakfast in superb location at the top of the Horse Shoe Pass. Once breakfasted enjoy a run out down through the Nant - y - Garth ( cracking road if you've ever done it) on to Ruthin where we then take the road over the moors through classic RAC Rally country, by-passing Clocaenog and on past Lyn Brenig, through the forest down to Llansanan into Llangernyw, again across some spectacular Moors scenery. We will then find ourselves in Llanrwst where we then take a short drive into Betws - y - Coed for an afternoon cuppa and a slice of cake. Then it's up to individuals. But I would suggest a quick run over the Moors road through Penmachno down past Lyn Celyn into Bala then home, whichever direction that will be.
Now it's obviously going to be very dependent on the weather as it does get rough out there but all being well, that's the plan.
Oh and by the way, if you have the 'full English ' at the Ponderosa, then a slice of cake in Betwys -y - Coed is all you'll manage.

The cost for this wonderful first excursion of the year.......absolutely nothing, but a decent turnout would be awesome for some stunning photo opportunities.
I do intend on doing a short route guide in case anyone takes the wrong turn at any time.

So form an orderly que please.........

I am up for that as long as I can escape at about noon to return my brats to school :)
