Workshop manual

Does anyone know where I could find a comprehensive workshop manual for my b4 2.0 80? Something like a haynes manual. Had a look on their site but they don't do one. No idea where else to look but Google just links me to pdf files some in German! And it all bitty not an overall manual.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Mat

I think haynes just do the B3 up to 1990(ish), engine wise though they do the Audi 100 up to '97......I know this 'cause I bought the A6 book for info on a previous B4 I had.

Factory workshop manuals may be your only option.

Not sure what's still available. Last time I tried to order something, it wasn't available. Not that the site tells you. it lets you order it, and then you get a refund later.

I've got some paper manuals for B3 / B4. Will have a search to see what's there.

Thanks. I'll have a look at the website and contact them before ordering.

You need the Bentley manual produced by Audi America, its the factory one, as the Americans apparently have some sort of legal requirement to have official factory manuals available to the public. Sometimes come up on ebay.com but not cheap. Maybe there is now a download version but I paid £80ish for one over 15 years ago, 1800+ pages.

Would this be what I'm looking for?

I have no idea. Will need to have a look, assuming it's in a plate in the engine somewhere?

Thanks for the heads up. Wasn't going to buy anyway as it seems like I would really need a desktop to run it and I want something mobile like a book. Nobody uses desktops anymore it's 2020!
