Centre bore on 4x100 GT Alloys
Ive measured the PCD on my GT alloys, and they are 4x100. Is the Audi centre bore the same as VW?
So I guess what I'm really asking is would Golf/Jetta/Passat etc.. Alloy fit straight on without any problems? It's mainly out of curiosity at the moment, but if a nice set of 15's come along I could be tempted :D |
They are called spigots. I believe they are 52mm from memory (but could be 57mm). If the spigot holes on your wheels are to big you can get adaptors (spigot rings) to bring the size down. If they are smaller then you can have the wheel machined to enlarge.
The critical point is the at the spigot and spigo hole size must match. If the hole is too big you will have very bad problems. The car will be undrivable and unsafe |
Been doing a bit of googling and found that all Audi and VW (irrespective of the PCD) share the same centre bore of 57.0mm
:) |
4x100 and 57.1 hub are shared by
vw audi bmw (older models) vauxhall (some) honda (some) renault (a few) |

I know they share the same PCD, but BMW,Vauxhall,Honda,Renault do not share the same centre bore. |
mini wheels (as in BMW ghey mini) are 57.0m 4x100.
I am surprised no-one has fitted any mini steels yet..... I like G60 steels....... |

You have them on because they fit. Obviously  But they do not share the same centre bore. Anyway, before this gets anymore annoying...I'm looking to fit BBS RA's on my Coupe, Just need to wait for some nice ones to come along :) |
