Never seen it round here before but spottted it yesterday & gave him a flash :D

It is indeed pricey, looks a nice car though.

A tow bar is never a welcome addition on a car in my eyes & the tailgate badge arrangement doesn't look right?

Good looking estate cars the B4's.

The car has a lot of positives which we all know, but I agree with Audiden its not all good..

Dodgy non-original rear badges
Missing front quattro badge
Likely to have an oil leak at that age and mileage (although not guaranteed)
No interior shots at all
Tow bar
Aftermarket clear indicators front
Missing piece of trim on rear wiper arm
Asking price

I like it and hope he gets near the asking price.

Problem is most on hear always want a bargain so would think it's overpriced.I don't think it is if the interior is as good?. That colour is gorgeous and another existing like this is extremely doubtful tbh. Only thing i would like is leather or Grey velour and lower mileage to make it the complete owners dream.

Totally agree with that. A tow bar always puts me off

I always have to laugh at the classic insurance bit sellers seem to insist on adding when selling a 'modern classic' such as this, but they never add...
'only if it's a second car and not a daily driver' as plenty of us on here know only too well :fire:

I am not saying I want something for nothing but at same time £4000 on a 2.6 is definitely pushing the boat out. If he gets it then great, happy for him, but looking at what things sell for in the real world it seems steep.

Fortunately I am not in the market anyway

Put it this way, if it does sell for anything like that then thats a new benchmark and will be interesting for the rest of us. I will then proceed to sell my RS2 recreation for £8000 at which point everyone will tell me I am mad.
