1986 Audi 100 Avant
Hi all :)
I've just brought myself a Polo for the daily hack, so am looking to sell the Audi. If there isn't any interest, I will keep it and do my original plans with it as it is a fantastic car to have as a parts hauler, but I would prefer to sell as I've seen something I really want. Details: 1986 Audi 100 Avant cc 1.8 with weber carb (K&N bolt on filter on) 147k on the clock Tax - Jan 08 Mot - 6th Dec 2007 Towbar Central Locking Alarm (well... kinda) Power Steering Had pads and disc's on the front recently and a small service (belts, filters and oil change) Really straight bodywork Fantastic blue velour interior The room inside is farpin massive! Good wheels/tyres German style plates included Overall it is a fantastic car and is one of the most useful I've owned, hence if it doesn't sell, I'm not to worried, but I really could do with the driveway space (it takes up rather a lot :P ) Bad parts: Well, a few weeks ago the alarm started playing up, all the wiring is still in place and the alarm is still intact, but I've just added a bit of my own wiring in or the immobaliser kicks in. Works fine with my wiring inplace, but isn't really ideal. The MOT isn't far off. I know it will need the horn looking at, but I can't see it needing anything else to be honest, but the previous owner said he reckons the o/s rear bearing will need doing. Its running a bit rich and overruns a little after switching off. I've improved it a bit from how it was before, but I have never played round with a weber before so not exactly sure what I'm doing :P Should be a simple thing for someone in the know. http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l3...5112007680.jpg http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l3...5112007681.jpg Sorry about how dirty it looked in the photos, haven't had a chance to clean it lately. It was going dark to, so I will take some better ones ASAP. I also have these for sale aswell for the Audi that I brought from the previous owner: http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l3...ant/7894_1.jpg 2 have tyres and 2 don't. The tyres on the two have some tread left, but the sidewalls are a tiny bit cracked. Probably useable, but I was going to get 4 new ones. From blackcircles you can get 4x named ones for about £120 including delivery. For the car I'm looking for £200. The alloys I will sell seproatly, but will do a deal if they go with the car :) If anyones interested or have any questions, just let me know :) |
Definatly for sale now as I've seen something I want.

Hi Guy's,
Thanks for the info, I need an four cylinder engine and manual box for my 100s coupe, I have been informed that the 100 avant 86 ish shared the same engine and box as my 72 coupe, but the 5 cylinder as a no go as it put too much weight over the front axel. What do you think? Ill put some pictures up as soon as I clear the area for starting the work Many thanks Jeff |
