God, i'm totally the opposite, would happily give up my job and be a painter, decorator if it paid enough. Sadly it doesnt !

ME!

It's ok when I get into it, but for years, I let my mom pop over and help me out!
Although she's 72 now and that's not an option!!!
Last lot we had done via the insurance after we had a flood in the bathroom so haven't had to do any for ages!

I love it too, odd eh!! I find it really therapeutic to be honest. No worries except making sure there are no brush marks and I keep the paint off the ceiling.

If I spend 8 hours in the office, getting home and painting a wall is a great wind-down. Have to do it on my own though - I can't handle assistants, they spoil the calming effect!

I'm a bit of a star at cutting in tbh.

I agree, hate it with a passion :wall:

The only successful way I've found of coping with it is this -

1 - Negotiate a huge incentive... Like buying something expensive for one of the cars after said job is finished.

2 - Abscond from all other duties.

3 - Play loud music, preferably the same album over and over again until the family goes mad.

4 - Stock the fridge for the end of each day.
:ihih:

i can't decorate when her indoors is about as she is sooooo clumsy, she trips over dust sheets and always put her hand in the fresh glossing.....bear in mind she is a professional aerobics/step/yoga/kickboxing etc instructor

PS i dont do her classes as Nige will confirm!!
