Anyone speak German? (Want a small translation done if possible!)

Hi, recently enquired about an item on German eBay, to which I got a response back in German (which is fair enough I guess!) basically I asked if he would be willing to post an item to england his response was

Ja wehre eigentlich kein Problem muss mich mal schlau machen was es kostet.

Which google translates as

Yes fend really a problem has me at times clever make what it costs.

Which doesn't overly help, first part of the sentence there is a problem, second half there isn't. If anyone can help much appreciated!

He will find out what it costs, but it it shouldn't be a problem. "Mich schlau machen" is not a phrase I have heard before but it makes sense to me. Thank him and hopefully he will get back to you with the cost

Ha ha, Google...
No problem to ship to the UK, but will have a look what it costs.

So he will come back to you with the cost.

"Mich Schlau machen" means: "make myself clever to find something out"
A bit funny, but it's a saying...

Using the full extent of my German, I can confirm that it's not about beer or sausages.
