Mass Air Sensor cleaner

Chaps,

Is there an aerosol cleaner specifically for cleaning Mass Air Sensors?

Is it available at Halfords etc?

Thanks

Save yourself some money take it off the car and use brake cleaner and use a cotton bud to do the little probes if you can get to them

Make sure it's dry before you put it back

Hmmmm...... interesting...

I was going to use carb cleaner and or electrical contact cleaner but was led to believe they were too aggressive.

Thanks

:)

I also clean out idle air control valves with brake cleaner works brilliantly
But it's all I've ever used on MAF's on call sorts of cars

The stuff in this case is, of course, carb cleaner.

Presuming we're talking about hot wire MAF, not KE-jetronic potentiometer, you are giving tips how to destroy it :o One should NEVER touch the wire with anything - the only thing that could have be done is some spraying with carb cleaner, that's all.
