TWO UR's!
I was driving the van, looked at my mirrors, and I just couldn't believe who was behind me, so I even pulled over to let that beauty to pass me!
So I gave the bloke thumbs up and followed him into a garage just round the corner from where I was going to and saw this: Honestly, my heartbeat was going crazy, I sooo love these cars and I just couldn't believe what am I seeing! :yikes: Jumped out of the van, went to see both owners in the garage, had a little chat. This red one has s2 engine with BIG turbo on it, porshe brakes, digital speedo etc, and has around 500 hp. White one is, as you can see, a left hand drive which is very nice condition as well! In 6 years, I only spotted 4 ur coupe's... That made my day! You might think I'm crazy, but I am in love with b2's! :wierdo::lol: |
why the dtm exhausts though!? Would like to see the red UR in profile to see what those alloys look like!
500bhp must be nuts in a road going quattro, mines around the 300 mark and that's stonking as it is! |
I think it hasn't got a middle box, because it sounds REALLY loud!
|
Aye, mines not got a centre box either and it's far from quiet ;)

The White one is interesting.Must be an import as it is LHD with a LHD wiper pattern but all the features of an 85 onwards UR.DVLA also wouldn't issue a plate that is later than the car.
Then the plate,D754 ENV is a plate issued to a press/VAG car which makes the car really mysterious. Anyone know the cars origins i'm sure more than me are curious.Phil. |
i got three UR's sat in my garage aswell as a GT a S4 and a 86 vw transporter :finger::finger::moon::moon:

What's that got to do with the OP ? unless its a nice big six car garage

The white car belongs to my good friend Pete Knight, he bought it in the Middle East whilst working out there and brought it home with him when he returned to the UK, it is a 1987 WR car hence the D registration and original LHD.
Digressing slightly I'm concerned that these photos are published including the full registrations. I don't want to be a party pooper or dampen anyones enthusiasm, but people are entitled to some privacy and I'm not sure that Pete would like the insides of his business premises and his quattro posted all over the internet.
