1980 Type 43 Audi 100 CD Auto

An elderly couple I know have a 1980 type 43 Audi 100 CD 5E Auto which they would like to sell. There is no photo so I need to describe it...from their description:

Location - near junction 3 M25 (I think)
Colour - dark metallic green
Interior - velour - excellent
Mileage - around £100K
Body - rust free / minimal rust
Not run for a few years, garage stored. New tyres, exhaust, cam belt kit.

Sounds like really good car which needs minimal recommissioning. If you are interested I can give you their number.

Sounds nice

Sounds like the better looking twin of my CD!

Mine is mechanically excellent but rusty rear end

Great colour combo!!

Sadly mine will be up for sale too when I dig it out now that I bought Ivor's GL, as I don't have time for a project house and a project car.

Sounds nice n brings back memories of a school friends dad giving the sane model death on the way home in 1981; fell in live with them then!

And a Lagonda Rapide? How cool!!!

Viewed the other day, been stood a long time, not turned a wheel in 10years, rust on lower rear valence gone through where meets the arch, bottoms of the doors has corroded through on the slant lip, front wing lips have corroded in the inside of the wing where bonnet meets and gone through, rear scuttle rusty, needs work obviously, but not the worst I've seen by any means, owner says engine needs a de-coke? needs a full rebuild in my eyes, probably why is was parked up.

underneath looks very solid, sills look good just minor pin holes, all arches have corrosion bubbling, front end chrome work is dented and rubber bumper trims torn and screwed on,

interior yes looks very good and smells old, has original cushions,

def worth saving, but heard that they may have a buyer already,
