Dish washer!!!!!
 

Hmmmmm just spent all day, 2nd time in a week waiting in for the engineer to repair my dishwasher :rolleyes: and yes as per usual he or rather I was the last appointment. I have now had the 12th vist and require a 13th next week since the 1/11/07. I work that out at £1200 just for vists and not the cost of parts on a dishwasher thats 8 yrs old :eek: :eek: :eek: They could of given me a new one, for way less than 1/2 the price it has cost for vists to repair it :p :p

Sounds a familair story and a bit of a shambles to me!

so let me get this straight, you've had 12 engineers out to your dishwasher and they couldn't fix it??????

It is at the mo....they have no idea whats wrong with it and replace parts just in case!!!!! sometimes this works and sometimes like last weeks vist it doesn't :o :o Ohh it needs another new part for next week ;)

surely under the trade descriptions act, you should be entitled to get one replaced of similar value? I'm sure if you played your face enough you'd get one.

Especially when you point out that it is now the 13th visit for their engineers.

wouldn't have got off the fone until I'd got a new dishwasher off them!

Love a good argument when people cock up! Got a nice new free kitchen out of complaining last year!!:D
It meant ready meals out of a microwave for nearly a year though but it was worth it!

that means the engineer will probably have to get an assessor out to visit to make sure it's ok to get a new one sorted!
