are you using 95 ron or Super?
It does make a difference. If I run the 100 (2309cc 10v) on 95ron, it tends to pink a bit, but drives lovely and no pinking if using super unleaded. |
not sure coxy will have a look the morrow when i go in town now that u mention it i was at a diffirent filling station last week not my usuall 1,think its 95 ron, cheers,

the only petrol we have up here is 95 ron,no super stuff, lol going on a classic tour in 4 weeks down west of scotland so might try and fill the car with super stuff see wat diffrence it will do,:)

are you using OE plugs? i.e. iridium plugs (higher resistance) can cause much weirdness in older systems. arcing in the cap etc. when they draw a higher current/voltage.
