are you using 95 ron or Super?

It does make a difference. If I run the 100 (2309cc 10v) on 95ron, it tends to pink a bit, but drives lovely and no pinking if using super unleaded.

are you using OE plugs? i.e. iridium plugs (higher resistance) can cause much weirdness in older systems. arcing in the cap etc. when they draw a higher current/voltage.

well they'll be right if you got them there i'd think! as long as they are copper core.

it was just an idea.. things like titanium and iridium are designed for modern/higher voltage systems was all i was thinking. i'm probably barking up the wrong tree again...

i use bosch super 4 in mine but.. no expert!
